It's still technically winter here down under but on days like today it definitely feels like spring. Sunshine and driving with the windows down.
I went to Big C's house for lunch today - check out the view of the harbour from his deck:
This cute little shed is just around the bay from his place - it's one of my favourites:
Love how blue it is without any photo editing! Love Wellington.
It feels like the weekend for me - 'Wellington on a Plate" food festival is on, so I have a weekend of wining and dining (and a serious lack of studying) ahead of me.

Is winter ending?

A colourful Wellington find
Today I was pleased to pass a little homewares shop that looked colourful and artsy, on my own stamping ground in Wellington, New Zealand.
It really stood out from other expensive homewares stores here, and their motto explained why:
"We believe interiors should contain some element of quirky & have some sense of fun".
Sounds like me!
I love love love this fabric called "After the Morning Rain" by Robert le Heros, and the bright happy cushions and wooden letters.
How refreshing.
